Transform Margins

Transform Margins or faults are strike-slip faults that separate two litho-spheric plates. Furthermore, they must connect two other types of plate margins. Therefore, there are three types of transform margins based upon the margins connected. There are: 1. divergent-divergent transform margins; 2. convergent-convergent transform margins; and 3. divergent-convergent transform margins.
