paraconglomerate

A conglomerate that is not a product of normal aqueous flow but is deposited by such modes of mass transport as subaqueous turbidity currents and glacier ice; characterized by a disrupted gravel framework, often unstra-tified, and notable for a matrix of greater than gravel-sized fragments.
