Linke scale

A type of cyanometer; used to measure the blueness of the sky; it is simply a set of eight cards of different standardized shades of blue, numbered (evenly) 2 to 16; the odd numbers are used by the observer if the sky color lies between any of the given shades. Also known as blue-sky scale.
