ideal plasticity

An ideal constitutive relationship relating stress and strain. Plastic behavior is time dependent with all strain being permanent. Strain is zero until a fixed stress value is reached. Infinite strain will occur at or above this stress value. An ideal stress-strain curve for a plastic body would be a horizontal straight line at some constant stress level.
