1. The pickup and movement of sedimentas bed load or in suspension by current flow. 2. The mixing of environmental air into a preexisting organized air current so that the environmental air becomes part of the current. 3. The transfer of fluid by friction from one water mass to another, usually occurring between currents moving in respect to each other.
