Convergent Margins

There are three types of convergent margins depending upon the type of crust on the colliding plates:),
(1. ocean-ocean convergent margins; 2. ocean-continent convergent margins; 3. continent-continent convergent margins. It is at convergent margins where ocean crust is consumed at the exact rate as it is being produced in the mid-ocean ridge.
