Bornite

Bornite, named after the mineralogist Von Born, is a valuable ore of copper, containing copper, iron, and sulphur. Bornite has the formulae Cu5FeS4 and a relative hardness of 3. It is a widely occurring mineral found in basic rocks and metamorphic deposits.
