Bole is an earthy mineral occuring in amorphous masses , and composed chiefly of silica with alumina, iron and occasionally magnesia. Any of various red, yellow, or brown earthy clays consisting chiefly of hydrous aluminum silicates. Also known as bolus; terra miraculosa.
